Mike Bennet, Head Coach & Field Sports Specialist

Mike Bennet has been running track since his high school days where he was a state champ in the sprint medley relay. At St. Andrew’s, he has coached track for 20 years and is proud to say he has helped many student athletes achieve success as state champions.

Tricia Yates, Distance Specialist

Tricia Yates was a Division II college athlete competing at the regional and national level. After college, she held age group rankings as a triathlon competitor in the Midwest circuit. Tricia is also a 5K, 10K, half marathon and full marathon competitor and age group place finisher. She was named the 2018 Cross Country Region Coach of the Year for boys and girls 2018 and the 2019 Regional Coach of the Year for girls.

Morgan Ballard, Sprint Specialist

Morgan Ballard graduated from St. Andrew’s in 2015 where she played volleyball, basketball, softball, and ran track throughout middle and high school.  As a sprinter, her events for track were the 400, 200, 4×100, 4×400, and the high jump. She placed at state in the high jump and both relays throughout high school and as a junior, both of her relay teams placed first at State. She graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2019 with a Bachelor’s in English and has been teaching at St. Andrew’s ever since. Currently, she teaches English for the 7th and 9th grades
