Jeff Bush grew up in New Jersey and studied education at West Virginia Wesleyan College. He has been teaching in various capacities since 1985. He taught outdoor/environmental education at various programs in and around New England. In 1992, he began classroom teaching at Aiken Preparatory School in Aiken, South Carolina where he taught science to grades 4-7. Much of his career was as a third grade science teacher at Casady School in Oklahoma City. More recently, he taught Pre-K through 5th grade science at Green Acres School in North Bethesda Maryland and 4th grade math and science at Dove Science Academy in Oklahoma City. Jeff and his wife, Joanne, have one daughter, Gillian, who is a student at the University of Denver. He enjoys time outdoors, reading, and his dog (a cockapoo named Callie).
