Nicole comes to us most recently from Greenville, South Carolina where she was awarded teacher of the year in 2020. She utilized this platform to initiate school-based norms in the area of PBIS (positive behavioral intervention strategies) and Responsive Classroom. Originally from the Northeast, Nicole attended Boston University for her undergrad, St Joseph’s University for her Masters degree and Sacred Heart University for an additional Masters degree in Educational Leadership. She is passionate about building a supportive learning community within her classroom and believes that quality instruction begins with building relationships with each individual child. Nicole loves riding her bike and exploring nature with her son, Jack and Husband, David.
