Your first step in applying to St. Andrew’s School is to create an account. The application link will then be emailed to you for completion.

ADMISSIONS PROCESS

The St. Andrew’s Admissions Committee is looking forward to getting to know your child. The admissions process should be completed online through your admissions portal.

STEP 1: CREATE AN ACCOUNT & SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION

An account may be created by clicking here. After creating your account, an email will be sent to you with a link to the application. The email will prompt you to complete the online application. You may also submit applications for siblings at this point in the process. Once the application has been processed, a checklist will be available in your account to keep you on track for finalizing the process.

STEP 2: APPLICATION FEE

An application fee of $150 per applicant is paid through the online admissions portal. This fee must be paid prior to a file being submitted to the Admissions Committee.

STEP 3: REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

A. TRANSCRIPT REQUEST
The Transcript Request should be completed from the admissions portal and given to the school(s) that the applicant has attended over the past 3 years. The official record of student progress should be returned directly to St. Andrew’s School via email, fax, or mail.
B. TEACHER RECOMMENDATIONS
Teacher Recommendation(s) should be completed by the applicant’s current teacher(s). Pre-K3 through Grade 6 applicants are required to submit one teacher recommendation and applicants for Grades 7 through 12 are required to submit a math teacher and an English teacher recommendation. Optional additional recommendations may be completed by another teacher of your choosing. This step in the process is completed from the admissions portal by clicking on the required “Recommendation Forms.”

STEP 4: STUDENT VISIT and SCREENING

Pre-K 4 through Grade 1 applicants will be scheduled to meet with grade level teachers for a student screening on Thursday, February 15. Grades 2 through 12 applicants will have the opportunity to experience a half day at St. Andrew’s with peers. During this visit, our teachers will evaluate the applicant in class and an informal interview will take place with school administrators for Grades 5 – 12. The Admissions Office will contact you to schedule your child for an on-campus visit or screening after an application is submitted.

Lower School student screening for Pre-K 4 through Grade 1 applicants.

Week of February 18
Admissions decisions emailed.

Friday, March 7
Enrollment Contract, registration fee, and deposit due.

AFFORDING SAS

St. Andrew’s School includes all foreseeable educational expenses on the Tuition & Fee Schedule.  Tuition can be paid annually, biannually, or monthly. The Payment Plan Schedule lists the payments for each option.

Providing an independent school education is a major investment in a child’s future. The cost of educating a student at St. Andrew’s School – with our dedicated and talented faculty, our comprehensive academic and co-curricular programs, and our beautiful campus –  is substantial. However, St. Andrew’s School is committed to providing need-based financial aid to families who might not otherwise be able to afford a St. Andrew’s education. St. Andrew’s has a substantial need-based financial aid budget as a result of our commitment to remaining a community school. Generally, the maximum financial aid awarded is 50% of tuition. Enrollment and grade capacity are taken into consideration when awarding financial aid.  In grades where we anticipate or have full capacity, student’s may not be eligible to receive aid regardless of demonstrated need.

St. Andrew’s School utilizes the FACTS program (a secure, online application process) to evaluate financial aid applications. The St. Andrew’s School Financial Aid Committee reviews each case individually to determine awards.  Click here for more information on financial assistance. BUS SERVICE RATES

$400 annual fee for centralized morning bus service. Afternoon and door to door available for an additional fee. Please contact Sheila Duncan at duncans@saslions.com for bus related inquires as spots are extremely limited.
