Michael Barefield attended two very different colleges for his education – Augusta State University, small and traditional, and the University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill), giant and progressive. It is this duality of experience that informs the core of Michael’s teaching sensibility and his own artwork. At St. Andrew’s, Michael appreciates the balance of traditions and a dynamic, forward vision. He and his wife, Tina, are the proud parents of Sam and Sarah.
