Anne Fleming has been co-teaching Kindergarten at St. Andrew’s since 2008. She received her Bachelors in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Southern University in 2000. She holds a T4 Georgia Teaching Certificate in levels K-5 and a Montessori Teaching Certificate with ages 6-9 from NAMC (North American Montessori Center). Prior to teaching Kindergarten at St. Andrew’s School, she taught at Pooler Elementary, Charles Ellis Montessori, and Savannah Christian Preparatory School.  Anne started teaching because she had a passion for interacting and working with children and she knew it would be a good career as a mother raising a family.  Anne loves teaching small children because she enjoys being creative and challenging students to do their best. Outside of school, she enjoys running, reading and cooking. In her free time, she likes to travel, shop, and entertain friends and family. She lives with her husband, Alan, and her two children, Claire, and, William.  She feels blessed to have their church, friends and both sets of parents in town. Anne is proud to say that she followed her grandfather’s advice to, “choose a career that will always be needed.”
