Benjamin Dombroski holds BA degrees in history and English from the University of Mary Washington, in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Additionally, he received an MFA in Creative Writing, Poetry from Virginia Commonwealth University, where he interned for the online literary magazine Blackbird, and served both as a writing center tutor and instructor of composition and introduction to creative writing. Currently in his third year at St. Andrew’s, Mr. Dombroski teaches the upper level English classes, as well as creative writing and composition. In addition to his classroom duties, he is also the coach of the Varsity girls soccer team. Outside of school, Benjamin continues to practice poetry, and his work has appeared in the print anthology, Best New Poets, 2009 and has been published by the literary magazine Hunger Mountain.
