If it’s Friday, it must be Book Buddies. At the beginning of a new school year, each student in Pre-K, Kindergarten, and Grade 1 is paired with a student from Grades 2, 3, and 4 respectively. The students take turns selecting books and read to their buddies every Friday. Students keep the same buddy for the entire school year, which gives them the opportunity to develop true friendships.
