Deb Doscher has been transplanted all the way from the mountains and lakes of New England. She graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington with a B.S. Degree in Elementary Education with a Language Arts concentration. She fell in love with the teaching of math nearly twenty years ago when she began her career as a Special Education Teacher, working with students who struggled with many mathematical concepts. Always looking to making things better, she jumped at any additional training opportunities and slid into a sixth grade math teacher position seamlessly two years later. The placement was the right fit and she spent the next fifteen years working in two different public school districts in New Hampshire, first at Newfound Memorial Middle School in Bristol, NH and later in the Pittsfield School District in Pittsfield, NH. She worked with many different grades throughout her tenure but she has spent the bulk of her career loving to teach fifth and sixth grade students. Savannah is now home, and she is excited to be collaborating with the rest of her team at St. Andrew’s, to make math more engaging for her students.
