Miki Duval earned her BFA in Art Education from Michigan State University. Before coming to St. Andrew’s School, she was a VISTA and AmeriCorps Member and Director working to provide after school programs for youth in Miami following hurricane Andrew. After moving to Savannah, she continued her non-profit career with the Coastal Empire Council of the Boy Scouts of America and Junior Achievement. Miki was delighted to begin her teaching career at St. Andrew’s in 2001 as the Lower and Middle School art teacher. She has also coached Boys and Girls Varsity Tennis. Miki has been actively involved in the planning and implementing of Fine Arts Week and any other activities that can benefit from her artistic assistance. Outside of school, she enjoys playing tennis, swimming, and traveling. For her, traveling is a great way to find treasures and inspiration to use in creating artwork in and out of the classroom.
